SYNOPSIS:

The Clock That Tells No Time
Director: Kieran Ridgway
Playwright: Kieran Ridgway

PREMIERE OF A NEW PLAY

The Clock That Tells No Time follows a man navigating grief after the sudden death of his wife and their child. Told non-linearly, the story shifts between therapy sessions and moments before and after the tragedy, as music repeatedly finds Ren when words fail. Confronted by a therapist who resembles his wife, Ren moves through denial, bargaining, anger, and depression. Through song and writing, he finally faces his guilt and reaches acceptance, learning to carry love and loss without being consumed by them.

And the Gods Held Their Breath
Director: Ron Arthurs
Playwright: Simon Denver

WA PREMIERE

Alexander the Great was perhaps the only person from history that deserved that mantle. He cast a giant shadow over history that is still being seen today. Was he a god? Was he a dictator?

Set in one of his recurring fevers, Alexander questions who and what he is. A god fulfilling endless prophecies? Or a man using prophecies as convenience?

In his fevered state, he’s visited by some of the key protagonists in his life. His mother (Olympias), his tutor (Aristotle) and his bride (Roxana). They all have so many questions, but will they accept the answers?

TITANIC the Musical

Directed by Mark Thompson

Musical Director – Krispin Maesalu

Choreography – Chloe Palliser

Titanic the Musical is an epic drama; capturing the glamour and tragedy of the ill-fated "Ship of Dreams" as it dove into the chilling depths of the Atlantic on April 15, 1912.

Written by Peter Stone and Maury Yeston, this ensemble musical explores the dynamics of the whole ship in a dramatic retelling of the "unsinkable" ship’s maiden voyage; the passengers ensconced within the luxury of first class, the ambitious social climbers in the second, the dreamers in third class, and the diligent crew serving them all. Using the recollections of survivors and their individual tales (some admittedly more "real" than others) this is a collective tapestry of hubris, classism, and the very human core of this endlessly compelling tragedy.

The kiosk and bar will be open before the show, at intermission and after the show.
